Collaborative whiteboard: prepare a shared space with clear rules

Before inviting other people, define what you expect from them: reading information, contributing ideas or changing decisions. A shared board needs a common goal and a way to distinguish proposals from agreements. Creating an account does not, by itself, mean sharing a board.

Write a note

An example to put it into practice

Goal · Set priorities

Proposal · One idea per person

Agreement · Owner and date

Getting started

  1. Write down the goal and expected outcome. One concrete example is finishing the session with three actions and a person responsible for each one.
  2. Set out who can edit and who only needs to read. Review the participants when the project ends and avoid entering information that not everyone should see.
  3. Cloud sharing requires a Premium plan. Use the sharing controls and review permissions before sending a link. An exported copy is independent and does not update with later changes.

A common question

Can I create an editable link now?

Check the sharing options for your note or board. A cloud plan is required; create the link, review its permissions and wait for confirmation before sending it.
