Online notepad: capture an idea before it slips away

A notepad is useful when writing something down should take less time than deciding where to save it. In PostisPop, you can open a blank note, write down an idea and return to it later. The board keeps several notes in view, so you do not need to open a separate document for every topic.

Getting started

  1. Keep one note for ideas that do not yet have a home. Avoid sorting every sentence as you write it: capture the information first.
  2. At the end of the day, turn each useful idea into a specific action: call someone, look up a fact or develop a draft. Review anything you no longer need before deleting it.
  3. Download a JSON backup before clearing browser data or changing devices. Without signing in, opening the website in another browser will not recover your local notes.

A common question

Do local notes appear on another device?

No. Local notes belong to that browser. You can view the notes in your account after signing in on another device.

Reminders for a note

If your account has access to reminders, open that option, choose the note and add a date and time. Check that the app confirms it has been saved.

Web alerts require PostisPop to be open and the device to be active. Closing the browser or putting the device to sleep may prevent or delay the alert.

You can allow browser notifications to see the alert outside the tab. Any entitlements you already have are preserved; new Premium activations will be available soon.

Your ideas, your way
