Meeting board: from topics to agreements

A meeting is easier to follow when topics and decisions are kept separate. The board can serve as an agenda before the meeting and a record of agreements afterward. Avoid confusing an idea someone suggests with a decision the team has already made.

An example to put it into practice

Agenda · Review the launch

Decision · Prioritize the mobile version

Action · Ana sends the proposal on Friday

Getting started

  1. Before the meeting, write down why it is being held and which decision needs to be made. Limit the agenda to points that need discussion.
  2. During the session, record each decision in specific words. Keep unanswered questions separate so they do not get lost among the comments.
  3. At the end, assign an owner and a date to every next step. Export the text to PDF using the print option if you need to distribute a copy; it does not contain attachments.

A common question

Does the PDF copy update after export?

No. It is a copy of the text saved at that moment. Export it again if you need to share later changes.
