Virtual whiteboard: organize ideas you need to see together

A list works well when everything belongs in one sequence. A virtual whiteboard helps when you need to see connections: what is missing, what depends on another task and which decision you need to make. Use the space to explain your work, not just to store sentences.

Write a note

An example to put it into practice

TO DO · Review proposal

IN PROGRESS · Prepare materials

DONE · Confirm date

Getting started

  1. Start with a question the board should answer. For example: what is left to do before delivering this project? Write a brief answer on each note.
  2. Choose a simple, consistent color scheme. One color can indicate open questions and another, confirmed actions. Do not rely on color alone: also add a word such as TO DO or DONE.
  3. Reorder your notes by importance. In PostisPop, you can drag one note onto another to swap their positions. Seeing them together should help you choose your next step.

A common question

Do I need to use every color?

No. Two or three categories are usually enough. Add a written label so the meaning stays clear without having to distinguish the colors.
